In the United States it is estimated that there are around one billion ceiling fans circulating the air across the country in homes and business offices. Whilst ceiling fans have mass appeal, look great and make you feel cool on a hot day, the air they circulate is usually full of dust, pollen, smoke, mold, animal odors and many more nasties you wouldn’t like to see floating about your personal space!
Well..
not so anymore, welcome the “Purifan System” (what a name!). This unique technological innovation cross-breed of air purifier meets ceiling fan is an attractive and highly effective air cleaner product.
The Purifan System is a circular, self-contained unit that totally replaces the paddles of a normal ceiling fan. The system has a 3-stage filtration process, a pre-filter, a charcoal filter and a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter. These all combine to create a very effective removal system of unwanted pollutants in your air space. The Purifan utilises the natural low and high air pressure in your home/office to pull up dirty air and recirculate the fresh air in a rate of 2,000 cubic feet of air per minute. This equates to refreshing the air of a 20×20 foot room every 90 seconds!
While your standard air purifiers are often effective at cleaning your air well, they are known for being very energy hungry and yet are only able to move a small amount of air compared to a typical ceiling fan. The Purifan uses the same energy, possibly a little less, than a standard ceiling fan, frees up your floor space, looks a lot more attractive than most air purifiers and is also a lot quieter than most to boot.
The Purifan currently is selling at around $359.95 and is available in four different colours. Visit www.puifan.com for more information and for details on how you can order one.

Please explain the motor system with this unit? Do you have to buy the motor extra or is it included in the 395 price. Keith Rost
